Good news for Amanda Bynes — the actress reportedly won’t go to jail for driving under the influence of Adderall in September.
According to TMZ, the L.A. City Attorney decided not to prosecute the troubled star this time around, due to the relatively low level of Adderall in her system at the time of the arrest. However, the 28-year-old may not be completely in the clear.
Because Amanda was charged with DUI back in 2012, this new offense could be considered a violation of her probation. If the probation does get provoked, that may mean jail time for the former Nickelodeon star.
After a few weeks of troubling behavior in the fall, including rants accusing her dad of sexual abuse, Amanda has laid low for the past few months, save for the occasional selfie on Twitter. She is likely getting treatment for her bipolar disorder, although, in December, she revealed plans to continue school at USC.
