The fact that Chris Brown still has a dating life is shocking enough, but what makes it even worse is that it now includes 19-year-old Kendall Jenner. The model has been quietly dating the rapper following his split from Karrueche Tran earlier this month, and Star has the scoop on their relationship!
Kendall, who has known the “Loyal” singer for a few years, has always had her eye on him, but was unable to make a move because he was taken. Things then took a turn this summer when the pair began seeing a lot more of each other — sometimes behind Karrueche’s back.
“Kendall was constantly in the studio when Chris was making music,” a family source reveals. “It’s no secret that they’ve been hooking up for a while.”
While their romance is still new, Kendall’s parents, Kris and Bruce Jenner, have allowed their daughter to hang around the temperamental Grammy winner for quite some time. Chris’ past transgressions include the February 2009 attack on then girlfriend Rihanna, as well as an outburst on Good Morning America in March 2011 during which he tore off his shirt and threw an object at a window overlooking Times Square. He was also kicked out of rehab earlier this year after breaking the treatment center’s rules and was immediately transferred to jail.
Insiders say that while Bruce isn’t thrilled about his daughter’s choice, his opinion has never held much weight in the family. On the other hand, Kris sees the pair as a future power couple. “Any normal mom would be concerned for their child’s safety in a situation like this,” the pal says. “But Kris is only thinking about the money and fame that can come from it.”
