They’ve been engaged for more than two years, seemingly without making any real plans for any upcoming wedding — so what’s the deal with Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux?! According to the actress…absolutely nothing. In fact, she couldn’t help but gush about him in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“Not only is he a great actor, but he’s one of the best comedy writers out there,” she raved about her fiancee. “And he directs and paints murals. And I just think it’s so attractive to be that good at so many things and to have no ego. He’s one of the most humble, decent human beings. He’s not an ass. He’s not like some of our friends who are young and up-and-coming and they hit celebrity and all of a sudden you’re like, ‘Oh! You’re different. Now you don’t say hi to people?'”
So, how have the couple kept the romance alive after more than three years together? “It’s almost impossible to get bored with one another,” Jen claims. “We’ve tried so hard! And even that’s interesting because his eyes are so pretty, but we can entertain ourselves and talk about endless things, which is pretty great.”
Of course, before Justin, the 45-year-old went through a series of failed relationships, most notably, her divorce from Brad Pitt when he got together with Angelina Jolie. Ten years later, though, she’s clearly move on. “I think it’s extremely important to forgive,” Jen reveals. “Otherwise it just builds up like toxic waste. There’s nothing worse than holding a grudge.”
And despite being in her mid-40’s, life is better than ever. “I’ve had more fun post-40 than I can remember,” the Horrible Bosses 2 star admits. “From a work point of view, a physical point of view, a psychotherapeutic point of view.”
