See ya later, side hugs! Jessa Duggar and her fiance, Ben Seewald, are getting ready to make their courtship official when they say “I do” on Nov. 1, and Star has all the exciting details.
“God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun,” the couple recently gushed. “We are thrilled to see what the future holds — especially the wedding bells!”
Jessa and Ben got engaged in August after an 11-month courtship and are tying the knot at the First Baptist Church in their native Arkansas in front of an expected 800 guests. The bride chose navy blue, gray and coral as the color scheme for the nuptials.
Insiders say that while the pair will reuse some of the decorations from her older sister Jill‘s June wedding to Derick Dillard, one thing they won’t be skimping on is the bridal party. “There will be 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen,” the source tells Star. “Ben is from a large family as well [he is the oldest of seven children], so everyone will get to be a part of their big day.”
The 19 Kids and Counting star, who is saving her first kiss with Ben until their wedding day, has also chosen her younger sister, Jinger, as her maid of honor. Mom Michelle has admitted that although the girls were born 13 months apart, they act more like twins. “Our personalities just click,” Jessa has said of their sisterly bond.
Just three days after the wedding, the couple will celebrate with another special occasion: Jessa’s 22nd birthday. “That’s kind of a first for the Duggar family, where the woman is older,” admits the paol. “It will be interesting to see how that works out.”
If the newlyweds are anything like Jill and Derick, they will probably be more focused on babymaking than birthday candles, though!
