Second time’s a charm? Amanda Bynes’ parents, Rick and Lynn, have reportedly obtained another conservatorship over their daughter, citing the fact that the troubled actress spent “alarming amounts” of money buying jewelry for other people.

Of course, that’s not the only issue the 28-year-old has been having recently. Last month, she was arrested for DUI and spent a week exhibiting strange and erratic behavior throughout Los Angeles and New York City. Her parents filed court documents saying their daughter is a “substantial risk” to herself and to others.

Currently, Amanda’s only income is what she’s receiving from her rental home (about $145,000 last year), so the amount of money she’s been allegedly spending is definitely a cause for concern.

Still, a lot has to happen before the Hairspray star is back at home with her parents. A judge recently allowed doctors’ requests for a 30-day extension on Amanda’s stay at a psychiatric facility in Pasadena.
