If Mama June’s side of this story turns out to be true, we could get another season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo after all! It was recently rumored that the reality star has been dating a registered sex offender, putting the future of her family’s TLC show in jeopardy, but June has taken to social media to deny the claims.
“It isnt true i promise my kids r #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else,” she wrote. “they r my life this is my past I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn’t go back.”
The man in question is, indeed, a registered sex offender in Georgia, where Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, and her family live. TLC released a statement on Thursday revealing that production on the fifth season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been halted due to the relationship allegations.
The network has yet to comment on Mama June’s post.
