The Duchess is back! After several weeks on bed rest for severe morning sickness, Kate Middleton made her first official appearance since announcing her pregnancy last month.
Along with her husband Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge welcomed the President of the Republic of Singapore and his wife to London on Tuesday. Although she’s only three months along, Kate already showed the small hint of a baby bump, which was mostly hidden under a long gray coat.
Although she’s still not 100%, Kate smiled and waved to bystanders, and even cracked a joke while meeting the Guest of Honor. “I’ve been looking forward to getting out of the house,” she told him. “It’s a bit colder than when we last met.”
The Duchess was forced to cancel several appearances over the last month and a half, as she’s been sick at home with Hyperemisis Gravidarum, which she also suffered from during her pregnancy with Prince George in 2013.
Kate’s expected to make another appearance later today — and, of course, all eyes will be on her maternity style!
