Well, this is an interesting twist. Stephen Collins is currently making headlines for allegedly admitting that he molested multiple female children, but comments he made many years ago sing quite a different tune.
Back in 2000, the actor was working on 7th Heaven with Jessica Biel, and made public comments about a racy photo shoot she did for Gear Magazine at the time.
“The press has gotten Jessica Biel’s age wrong in their recent stories about her,” he told The NY Daily News. “She’s not 18, as has been widely reported. She’s 17, a minor. Jessica’s photo spread was child pornography. I don’t want my kid to get the message that that’s okay.”
He added, “As a parent of a young daughter, this is very disturbing to me.”
In 2001, not long after she took the controversial photos, Jessica also had comments to make regarding the shoot. “That photo shoot was just a really bad decision on my part and I got myself involved with people who weren’t thinking about me and were instead thinking about what kind of story they could get out of it,” she admitted.
