Is this really happening?! A Twitter conversation between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis has led to rumors that another Sex and the City movie could be on the way!
Kristin started things off on Friday by tweeting to her former costar, “Miss YOU XOXOXO!! <3,” to which SJP responded, “Me too you! Heard the news?”
“Yyyeessssss….. But I’m afraid to get TOO excited yet – You let me know when we can celebrate. XO,” Kristin wrote back. Of course, fans went into a frenzy following the tweets, asking what news the ladies were referring to.
“That news zooming around. X sj,” Sarah answered one fan.
Jennifer Hudson, who starred in the first Sex and the City movie, also opened up about the possibility of a three-quel. “I think it might be [happening],” she admitted. “Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it’s in the talks, it might happen. So look for it.”
Sex and the City aired on HBO from 1998-2004. The first movie hit theaters in 2008, with a sequel in 2010.
