She may have ended her relationship with Harry Dubin on The Real Housewives of New York City earlier this year, but things are already looking up for Sonja Morgan! The 50-year-old, divorced mother of one has already rebounded into a new romance with Nicolas Brochet.
“I’ve known him for decades,” the reality star tells Star. “He’s best friends with my best friend, Carole. They grew up together, so we’re always in St. Tropez. He came to New York because he has an opportunity with a hotel/restaurant/bar to do a project because he does publicity.”
Things are heating up quickly between the new couple, too. They were spotted making out intensely at the OK! Magazine party on Sept. 10 in New York City, and Nicolas is even looking to make the move from France to New York! “He’s looking to more here in October!” Sonja gushes. “I think it’s very exciting. We have a good time together, we always do. We’ve known each other for a long time and we always have a great time.”
Plus, Nicolas, who is 13 years Sonja’s junior, already knows her daughter, Quincy. “He knows my daughter very well,” the RHONYC star admits. “She loves him!”
But how serious is she willing to get with her new man? “We’ll have to see,” Sonja says. “As far as me going off the market, that’s a big question. You see how I was with Harry. I need a big commitment to commit. I have so many opportunities right now, and I’m very busy with my business. And, you know…my daughter comes number one.”
