They’re red carpet official! George Clooney and his fiance Amal Alamuddin made their red carpet debut at the Celebrity Fight Night Gala in Italy.
Since becoming engaged in April, the couple has spent most of their time overseas, and it was revealed at this weekend’s event that their upcoming wedding will keep in tune with that. According to reports, George announced at the podium that he and Amal planned to tie the knot in Venice in a few weeks.
“He said he is an honorary 12-year resident of Italy and then said they were getting married in Venice,” a source tells E! He also said to Amal [from the podium], ‘I love you very much.'”
For the event, Amal wore a strapless, black, floor-length gown, which matched her fiance in a black suit and tie.
