Watch out, Kim Kardashian — the wedding of the year may still be yet to come! Notorious bachelor George Clooney and his fiance Amal Alamuddin received their marriage license in London at Chelsea Town Hall.
In London, marriage licenses are posted on a piece of paper behind glass outside of Town Hall for anyone to see, and DListed.com obtained a photo of the document. The couple reportedly plan to marry in Italy this fall.
George was married to Talia Balsam from 1989-1993, and after their divorce, he famously said he did not plan to wed again. He was in several long-term relationships following the split, but didn’t propose again until he met the 36-year-old attorney — and with her, it took less than seven months!
