Just a few weeks after the end of True Tori, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are still working on their relationship. After the actor cheated on the Beverly Hills 90210 star in December, the couple famously decided to air their marriage counseling on a Lifetime reality series this spring — but where do they stand now?
“Things are getting better,” Tori said on Good Morning America, in a seemingly rehearsed response. “Life is always a work in progress, and our relationship is one as well, but we’re moving in the right direction.”
The actress received a decent amount of criticism for deciding to air her personal issues on television, but explained that that’s something she’s okay with. “Some people agreed with it, some people didn’t,” she shrugged. “It was my personal journey and I have no regrets.”
Tori and her former 90210 costar, Jennie Garth, will be starring in the new ABC Family series Mystery Girls this summer.
