Things are slowly improving for Tracy Morgan. Ten days after a car crash in New Jersey left him severely injured, his rep says there’s been a positive change in the comedian’s condition.
“Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement,” the rep said. “His personality is starting to come back as well.”
The accident, a six-car pileup, killed fellow comedian James McNair and left several others with seriously hurt. Tracy’s injuries included a broken nose, broken leg, broken femur and broken ribs.
Kevin Roper, who was driving the WalMart truck that caused the crash, pled not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide and assault by auto last week. He was released on $50,000 bail. The truck driver was reportedly awake for more than 24 hours at the time of the crash.
