Jessa Duggar balks at the idea of kissing a boy before marriage, but cuddling up to a killing machine? No problem!
Fans of the TLC series 19 Kids & Counting were shocked when Jessa’s boyfriend, Ben Seewald, posted a Facebook photo of Jessa holding a .22-caliber military assault rifle. “My AWESOME girlfriend! #dontmesswithjessa,” he proudly boasted in the caption — but her parents aren’t smiling.
“Jim Bob used to be the main man in these girls’ lives, and now they have their future husbands calling the shots,” a source close to the ever-expanding family reveals. “He thinks it’s damaging their wholesome brand.”
While conservative, the Duggars have avoided making divisive political statements for fear of alienating viewers, but Ben doesn’t seem to care. He recently posted another Facebook photo, this time a flyer for a radical antiabortion group. “The girls are grown and are breaking through Jim Bob and Michelle’s strict boundaries,” the family friend admits. “It’s their parents’ worst nightmare.”
