Heading home! After three weeks touring Australia and New Zealand, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince George got on a plane home on Friday.
The Duchess carried the couple’s 9-month-old son up the steps to the plane, where the trio was seen off by the Australian Prime Minister and his wife. Throughout the trip, the royal family attended a plethora of events, photo ops and appearances.
“The tour of New Zealand has been an incredible experience for both the Duke and Duchess, and the couple really have enjoyed it immensely,” a palace spokesperson said. “We always said this would be an opportunity for the Duke to introduce both countries to the Duchess and Prince George, and the couple have been bowled over by the extraordinary warm welcome shown to them as a family by people everywhere they went.”
