Since marrying Ryan Reynolds in September 2012, Blake Lively has been taking it easy. Her show, Gossip Girl, concluded in December of that year, and she is just now getting back to work on her first acting project since.
“Having a personal life has been really nice,” she admitted to Elle. “I’d been on Gossip Girl ten months a year for six years, shooting 15 hour days, so hadn’t had time to just be since I graduated high school. It’s been nice to kind of settle into my own skin and work on things I really love.”
The actress began work on the CW show in 2007, starring in a few movies during the busy time. Now, she’s back on set for the film The Age of Adaline, and has a partnership with Gucci.
