Mick Jagger Cancels Concert Following L'Wren Scott's Suicide

Mick lwren

Unsurprisingly, Mick Jagger is grieving following the death of his longtime girlfriend, L’Wren Scott, on Monday. The 47-year-old was found dead in her Manhattan apartment of an apparent suicide, while the Rolling Stones rocker was in Australia, touring with his band.

However, the group canceled a concert on Wednesday in Perth, presumably so Mick could head to the Big Apple. “No further information is available at this time,” the band’s website says. “Ticket holders are asked to hold onto their tickets until a further update is available.”

The Stones’ next scheduled concert date is for Saturday in Adelaide, and they’re expected to be Down Under until April 5. No word yet on how this tragedy will affect the rest of their upcoming shows.

The singer’s 22-year-old daughter, model Georgia Jagger, also canceled an upcoming appearance for a runway show in Australia.
