The last few weeks have been a whirlwind for Kendall Jenner, who made a name for herself outside her family’s reality star fame by walking major runway shows for Fashion Week. The 18-year-old started out in New York, modeling for Marc Jacobs. From there, she walked for Giles in London, and Givenchy and Chanel in Paris.
In an online diary for LOVE magazine, Kim Kardashian’s little sis shared her thoughts from the experience, along with some behind the scenes photos. “The whole experience of my first fashion month has been nothing less than a dream come true!” she wrote. “It was so crazy and exciting.”
While Kendall was clearly excited about all the opportunities the month brought her, it seems being booked for Givenchy was the biggest for her. “I got news that I’d been confirmed on Givenchy, which sent me over the edge because it’s a brand I regularly wear and look up to so much,” she explained. “It was another truly surreal moment.” Her future brother-in-law, Kanye West, watched from the front row as she walked the runway.
“Proving myself in the high fashion world is really important to me and something that I’m willing to work hard at accomplishing,” she concluded. “I feel so blessed to be doing what I’m doing and I can’t wait for more!!!”
