The people have spoken! As on Wednesday, more than 113,000 people signed a petition to have Justin Bieber deported — and now, the Obama Administration is expected to respond.
Because the petition received more than 100,000 signatures, the White House is obligated to review it. “We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture,” the document reads. “We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive and drug abusing Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked.”
The request was filed on Thursday, which is the same day the 19-year-old was arrested for DUI. “He is not only threatening the safety of our people, but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth,” it continues. “We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”
So far, the Biebs hasn’t publicly spoken about his arrest. He’s expected to be arraigned on Feb. 14, but in the mean time, he’s been spending the last few days in Panama. Tonight, his music video for “Confident” will premiere online.
