For the first time since voluntarily checking into rehab on Oct. 29, Chris Brown has surfaced. Although he was photographed out and about, though, his treatment isn’t over quite yet.
“Chris is continuing his rehab program as an outpatient and is also completing his community service in the Los Angeles area,” his rep says in a statement. “He appreciates all of your support and encouragement.”
Last month, the singer was arrested for a misdemeanor assault after an altercation in Washington D.C. Two days after his release from jail (without bail), he checked into the Malibu rehab center. “His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point,” his rep explained at the time.
As for the community service, Chris was sentenced to 1,000 additional hours in August after a judge found that he violated his probation in the well-known Rihanna case by submitting fake community service reports.
