‘Tis the season of Hollywood breakups! Longtime couples like Bruce and Kris Jenner and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have recently separated, and now, Orlando Bloom and wife Miranda Kerr can be added to the list.
“In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months,” the actor’s rep revealed. “After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.”
The couple began dating in 2007, announced their engagement in June 2010, and tied the knot just one month later. In August of that year, Miranda announced her pregnancy, and their son, Flynn, was born in Jan. 2011.
Although they’ve apparently been separated for a few months, Orlando and Miranda were photographed together as recently as Oct. 8, and she supported him at the opening of Romeo and Juliet on Broadway in mid-September.
