In February, Demi Lovato will kick off her Neon Lights tour, and to prepare…she’s debuted neon hair! The singer revealed her new, blue hairstyle on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno Wednesday, where she performed “Neon Lights” for the first time on television.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old proudly showed off the new ‘do on Twitter. “LIKE NEON HAAAIIIIIRRRRR!!!!” she wrote, along with a mirror photo. Amber Maynard from Nine Zero One Salon mixed four different colors together to get the blue hue, a change Demi has been planning on making for awhile now.
The X-Factor judge has made light of her ever-changing hair color in the past. “You’ve heard I’m bipolar,” she joked to Ellen DeGeneres. “So I change my hair a lot!”
Besides preparing for the upcoming tour, Demi will continue as a judge on Season 3 of The X-Factor this fall. Plus, she’ll be a recurring character for Season 5 of Glee, beginning with tonight’s episode, starring as a love interest for Santana (Naya Rivera).
