Making the Band’s girl group is back! The ladies of Danity Kane officially announced their reunion on Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres made the announcement on the red carpet. The band’s former fifth member, Wanita “D.Woods” Woodgett was noticeably not part of the appearance, and will not be joining the ladies as they put out new music — instead, she’s working on her own solo project.
Although the ladies were discovered by Diddy on Making the Band in 2005, the girls say that as of right now, he’s not part of their comeback. “Diddy always finds his way back, but this time we’re doing it on our own,” Aubrey explained.
The girls’ revealed that their first comeback single will be called “Rage,” although they didn’t say when we’ll actually get to hear it just yet.
