Everybody remembers John Stamos as cool-guy Uncle Jesse on Full House, but these days, the actor has a starring role on USA’s show Necessary Roughness.
STAR caught up with John at the Asphalt Yacht Club Launch Event on Saturday, July 27 in Malibu, where we chatted with him about staying in shape, his favorite music and this month’s biggest arrival — the Royal Baby!
What have you been doing to stay in shape this summer?
I do pilates. I go in and it’s all women except for me. And I know they make up these exercises like, “Hey John! Come over here and do the penguin!” and I’m like, “The penguin? That’s a weird one.” And my legs are all over the place and it looks like I’m getting a PAP smear. I think they just do it to make me look silly but, I don’t know…it keeps me in shape.
What have you been listening to on your iPod?
The Beach Boys! It’s got to be a Beach Boy’s song. I just played with the Beach Boys and the Eagles and we just blended together a song — “Hotel Calfornia Girls.”
Do you have any advice for the Royal family on their new baby?
What do I know! I helped raise the Olsen twins, so I only know how to help raise young kids to become billionaires.
