Taylor Swift is currently on the road, and was therefore unable to make Selena Gomez’s 21st birthday celebration on Sunday night. But, like the true friend she is, Taylor made sure to give Selena a special b-day message on Twitter.
“Happy 21st birthday to my friend, and the closest thing I’ve ever had to a sister, @selenagomez!!” she wrote, along with a photo of the two of them by the beach. Taylor and Selena have been longtime BFFs, so her Twitter shout out is not exactly a surprise.
Additionally, Selena’s Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson shared a photo of a happy Selena at the party Sunday night. “Happy 21st baby!!!! @selenagomez,” she captioned the pic.
Hmmm…wonder if Justin Bieber will join in on sharing some birthday love for Selena on social media…
