Mariah Carey was rushed to the hospital on Sunday night after dislocating her shoulder while filming a video for the remix to her song “#Beautiful.” Doctors reset her shoulder, and she was sent home soon after, where she’s been resting since the incident. Mariah’s hubby Nick Cannon was close by when the injury happened, considering he’s the one directing her remix video.
Luckily, Mariah’s rep says in a statement that she’s “fine,” and she’ll even be keeping up with all of her appearances. This Saturday, the singer will be performing in Central Park for the MLB All Star Charity Concert with the New York Philharmonic.
Mariah’s album was set to release at the end of July, but she recently announced that she doesn’t feel it will be completely ready for a July 23 release date. Although she hasn’t revealed the new, official date yet, chances are we’ll get some new tunes sometime this fall!
