It’s official! Selena Gomez‘s mom Mandy gave birth to a baby girl, so at 20-years-old, the former Disney darling is no longer an only child.
The baby is certainly a blessing for the family, especially after 37-year-old Mandy had a miscarriage back in 2011. This time around, the pregnancy was kept on the complete DL until Mother’s Day, when Selena tweeted a photo of herself cradling her mother’s already large bump. Still, we had no idea the baby was due to come this soon!
Although Selena has yet to comment on the birth of her little sis, her longtime pal Demi Lovato didn’t hesitate to show her excitement. “@selenagomez IS A BIG SISTER!!!!!! Everyone congratulate her and her family!!!!!! #CONGRATSSELENA!!!!” she tweeted.
Selena might not have any practice with siblings of her own, but back when she was dating Justin Bieber, we saw her photographed playing with his younger, half-siblings…and she’s a total natural! Unfortunately, she may not get that much time to bond with the little one, considering she’s setting out on her Stars Dance tour later this summer. And don’t forget, her album Stars Dance comes out July 23!
