Lately, we’ve gotten used to seeing Miley Cyrus put on a major production while performing, but even she knows how to take it down a level when appropriate. The 20-year-old hit up BBC Radio 1’s live lounge on Tuesday, where she gave a stripped down cover of Lana Del Rey’s hit “Summertime Sadness.”
“Check out my @BBCR1 live lounge cover of Summertime Sadness,” she tweeted, with a link to the video.
The song is much more mellow than any of those on Miley’s latest album Bangerz, where she belts out even the slowed-down hits. Still, the singer shows off her raw vocal talent, which people tend to forget about due to her other headline-making antics, in her cover. Check it out here:
