VIDEO: Carrie Keagan Auditons for Craig Ferguson's Late Night Spot

At the end of 2014, Craig Ferguson will officially leave The Late Late Show — but could Carrie Keagan take his place?! The funny TV personality joined the talk show host for an interview on Friday, where she participated in a mock audition for the job.

“Have you warmed up the seat for me?!” she joked while discussing the end of Craig’s reign.

“Do you want to audition?” he asked. Without missing a beat, Carrie took her pal’s place behind the desk and played the role of interviewer for the next part of her appearance, while Craig became the show’s guest.

“Wow, I had no idea what late night felt like, but now I do!” the former Big Morning Buzz Live host laughed.

Craig’s contract with CBS was set to expire in June 2014, but he was given a six month extension to allow for a proper goodbye and to give the network time to find a replacement.
