SO much for adult swim. Tori Spelling got in deep social-media water over the Memorial Day weekend after she took her two oldest children to Palm Springs —and let them hang out in a pool during a boozed-up bacchanal.
The mother of five apparently thought the pool at the Saguaro hotel, known for its weekend ragers, was just the place for Liam, 10, and Stella, 9, to have some wholesome family fun.
“Tori was posting photos and videos in real time of Liam and Stella surrounded by scantily clad twentysomethings making out and gyrating in the hotel pool,” says a source. “There was barely room for the kids to move. At one point, Liam was fist-pumping to the music, surrounded by beautiful women in bikinis.”
Tori was almost as amused as he was, and even posted a video on Instagram, noting that the pool scene was “like having tons of babysitters.”
But the mommy-shamers were quick to call out the 90210 star. “They basically said, ‘You are trusting your children with strangers! That pool is so crowded they could drown!’ ” says the source.
A few hours later, Tori’s videos mysteriously disappeared, to be replaced with food photos.
“She has spent the last decade pregnant,” says an insider who has known Tori for years. “I call it a ‘mom-life’ crisis! She wants to get beyond changing diapers, school runs and DIY crafts, but she should have left the kids at home.”
It’s impressive that Tori was celebrating at all. Just a few days earlier, on May 24, after she failed to show up in court, an L.A. judge issued a default judgment for Tori and husband Dean McDermott to pay City National Bank $219,796.66, the latest in a long list of arrears. Talk about swimming in debt!
