'I Am Sorry!'

Ryan Lochte Admits The Truth After Shocking Footage Is Exposed

His public apology came hours after the gas station footage was released.

Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte released a personal statement on Aug. 19 in regards to his Rio robbery scandal.

Ryan — along with Team USA swimmers, Jimmy Feigen, Gunnar Bentz, and Jack Conger — have all been entangled with questions by the International Olympic Committee and the Brazilian police about their claims of being held up at gunpoint at a Rio gas station on Aug. 14. But now, authorities were given footage of the Olympians at the gas station, which is reportedly being used by police to see if they made up the story to distract from the fact they vandalized a toilet at the station.
