'I Know What I Saw!' Did Police Dismiss Eyewitnesses At Paul Walker’s Deadly Crash?

A new series goes behind the scenes what really happened at the crime scene.

Four years after Paul Walker and racing colleague Roger Roda were both killed in a fiery car crash, a new series by Reelz network is asking some hair-raising questions about the tragedy.

In an exclusive sneak peek just for StarMagazine.com readers, the new series — called Paul Walker: Collision Courseprobes for answers about why two experienced race car drivers crashed during a routine ride — and why police ignored an onlooker’s account of the deadly crash.

“When the police were here, I told them exactly what I saw and I gave them my story and they took it,” eyewitness Abe Rodriguez said on camera. “They wrote it down and that was that.”

But the police report clearly stated that no eyewitnesses saw a street race, and that security cameras at the nearby industrial park didn’t capture it, either.

However, the report did state that cameras caught a parade of cars arriving at the crash site, which supported Rodriguez’s account.

“[Police] picked two camera shots from security cameras that were no good,” Rodriguez explained. “This industrial area has cameras everywhere. There are cameras all over. Nobody bothered pulling them out to see what happened.” Adding, “I know what I saw!”

As OK! previously reported, Walker and Roda were both killed after their Porsche slammed into a tree at 100 mph on Thanksgiving weekend in 2013.

Find out what else is being kept quiet when Paul Walker: Collision Course premieres on March 18 at 9 pm ET on Reelz.
