MADONNA is desperately seeking someone who will put the kibosh on an upcoming tell-all movie, Blond Ambition, about her cutthroat climb up the charts.
“Nobody knows what I know and what I have seen,” Madonna ranted on Instagram. “Only I can tell my story. Anyone else who tries is a charlatan and a fool.”
But it’s not privacy Madonna wants — it’s control.
“She’s furious that [producer] Brett Ratner didn’t ask her to be involved in making the film,” dishes a source close to the 58-year-old, who subsequently tried to block the production from using her songs but was unable to because she didn’t write them. “Brett knows that she’d only want to make a very revisionist version of her life — not necessarily the truth.”
And the truth, much like the sales of her last album, hurts. Star’s insider tattles that Madge is in a league of her own when it comes to using those around her.
“Madonna spent decades milking people for their talents and then discarding them,” reveals a well-placed source. “For example, she stole voguing from one of her dancers then froze him out of the industry. Stuff like that has happened countless times. She doesn’t have a lot of friends out there.”
So, the Material Girl is hoping her fan base will help nip the big-screen biography in the bud.
“Her strategy is to bash it on social media and hope her followers boycott the movie,” explains the insider. “But all she’s doing is hyping up the controversy and creating even more interest.”
