Lionel Richie seems to have had a change of heart over his teenage daughter Sofia Richie dating Scott Disick.
The famous singer was understandably anxious about the relationship between Richie, 19 and Disick, 34.
Bit now it appears he has come round to the idea amid reports the father-of-three has ditched his hard partying lifestyle and that Sofia has been a good influence for him.
And this week Richie told how her dad has been supportive of her relationship in recent times.
She said: “He’s good. He’s been very nice. He’s been very cool. He’s very supportive, whatever that means.”
However, as she made the comments on the red carpet about her father he jokingly pretended to put a gun to his head before being told off by his daughter.
Disick – who has three children with Kourtney Kardashian – has endured several stints in rehab in recent years.
