Lamar Odom sat down for his first interview since being in a coma and talked exclusively with Dr. Travis Stork of The Doctors.
The former NBA star revealed what he remembers about the night he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and then transported to the hospital. Lamar told Dr. Stork he recalls, “thinking I was going to just rest a little bit.”
He added when he woke up from his coma, “I couldn’t even speak at the time … nothing would come out when I would open my mouth.” Lamar said he’s been battling inner demons and the realization that his marriage to Khloe Kardashian was over didn’t help.
He confessed, “I wasn’t in a good place mentally. I was in a dark place.”
The interview was taped right before Lamar entered rehab in early December and the show promises it won’t air until he’s recovered.
