Less than one week after Jodie Sweetin hired extra eyes to guard her from now-free Justin Hodak, she must have felt safe enough to visit a farmer’s market on Sunday morning, June 11.
The Fuller House star was all smiles as she browsed items with a pal in Studio City, but were her safety concerns still in the back of her mind?
As Star previously reported, the 35-year-old actress hired a full security team to protect her and her family from ex-fiancé Justin, who was granted an early prison release last week.
But just days later, Justin sat down with the Daily Mail to reveal what really happened between the exes before he was locked up.

“Looking back, I feel terrible for what happened, it went too far,” he told the publication. “I’m super remorseful. I just don’t know where it all came from, but there was no domestic violence, I would never hurt Jodie. I just feel set up. I feel like it was a situation that could have been avoided. It was four years and we’re never going to speak to each other over a dog that we didn’t even get yet and a broken bookcase. None of it makes sense.”
Justin was serving jail time after he made threats against Jodie’s life and had an illegal firearm on him during the rift.
