Gigi Hadid co-hosted the American Music Awards last night with SNL star Jay Pharaoh and received negative reviews on social media. She got hate in particular when she tried to do a Melania Trump impression. She said, “I love my husband, President Barack Obama. And our children Sasha and Malia,” referring to the time Melania reportedly plagiarized Michelle Obama in her speech.
One user called her “uncomfortable” and felt “embarrassed” for her. Another said it was disrespectful to mock the next First Lady. A third user said Gigi should just stick to modeling.
