Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds' Memorial Secrets Uncovered

The public service will be aired online for fans to watch.

It’s been nearly two and a half months since Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds were laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, but the family is putting finishing touches on their final goodbye — a major showdown at their public memorial service.

According to reports, the event will take place on March 25 at the park, where over a thousand seats will be available for fans and family.

Carrie’s close pal, James Blunt, wrote a song for the mother-daughter duo. But the singer-songwriter has no plans to perform it on stage, just let it play over speakers. There is expected to be a display of their famous costumes, a routine performed by Debbie Reynolds dance school students, and even a major choir group set to take the stage.

Fans who aren’t able to get a seat at the service can watch the showdown on Carrie and Debbie’s website on that day.

As Star reported, Carrie’s brother, Todd Fisher, was spotted with his sister’s ashes during the funeral on Jan. 6. She was cremated and a portion of her was buried alongside mom Debbie.

The Star Wars actress went into cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles on Dec. 23. She was taken to a nearby hospital after landing, where she died four days later. Debbie suffered a stroke and died just one day later.
