And like most Nicki news, it was announced on social media that the “Pinkprint” rapper will executive produce and appear in an upcoming comedy series on ABC Family.

The TV show is set to begin filming in New York City this winter, and the series is based off of the 32-year-old recording artist’s life and eventual rise to stardom—focusing on her families’ immigration from Trinidad and Nicki’s childhood, growing up in Queens during the 90s.

Nicki is an international superstar, yet not everyone knows how inspiring and hilarious her true story is, and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”
