Did Mark Salling Attempt Suicide After Child Porn Bust?

Mark Salling allegedly attempted to commit suicide by slitting both his wrists, according to reports.

The incident happened a month and a half before the disgraced Glee actor pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.

Mark is said to have “freaked out” after he hurt himself on August 22 and screamed for his roommate for help after attempting to end his life.

The actor was then reportedly taken to be treated for psychological problems and has been seen wearing long sleeve shirts to hide what may be scars on his arms.  

Mark’s representatives have denied that the actor harmed himself saying: “Mark is physically fine and Mark is spending his time atoning and working on himself.”

As readers know, according to U.S. District Court documents, Salling, 35, is facing 20 years of prison and a lifetime of probation. However, as part of the plea deal, he likely will serve between four and seven years in jail.

When authorities raided his home on a search warrant, they discovered more than 50,000 images and videos of child pornography and erotica. His pornography featured children as young as 5-years-old.

Once released from prison, the actor is banned from coming within 100 feet of schoolyards, parks, public swimming pools, playgrounds and video arcade venues.
