Too Much Tension? Kelly Ripa & Michael Strahan Are No-Shows To Receive Their Daytime Emmy Award Win

The Live with Kelly and Michael hosts were both no-shows at the Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday night, where they took home the award for best Daytime Talk Entertainment Show host. Dr. Oz accepted the award on their behalf, saying, "I don't think they're here...will accept on their behalf. Kelly and Michael will share it!"

Their win comes in the midst of their epic blowout. As Star previously reported, Kelly, was not given advance notice of Michael's departure — and stormed off the set for a long weekend. She returned to the show last Tuesday, but not without fighting words.

But the 44-year-old former NFL star and the 45-year-old soap opera star reunited for the May 5 taping of their show — and acknowledged their awkward win.

They both walked out with an Emmy statue — and said they didn't know about the weekend's festivities until they got congratulatory texts!

The duo thanked their crew for their part in the award, and then Kelly joked about having the cameras on her when she was nominated for awards and didn't win.
