Janet Jackson Pregnant With First Child Days Away From 50th Birthday: Report

The mystery may finally be solved as to why Janet Jackson called off the second leg of her tour on April 6.

A source told ET on May 4 that the singer is expecting her first child with husband Wissam Al Mana.

The pregnancy report comes right on the heels of Janet's 50th birthday on May 16.

Star previously reported that the star took to Twitter in April to share a shocking announcement: "Hey, you guys. On Aug. 31, as you probably know, I launched the Unbreakable World Tour. First I just want to thank all the fans for coming out and seeing the show. Thank you very much."

"We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family," she continued on Twitter. "So I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can to understand that it's important that I do this now."

"I have to rest up, doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can," she added. But with the pregnancy bombshell, she may not be keeping that promise to fans after all.

But to top the pregnancy shocker and the tour cancellation, Janet was reportedly battling a health scare back in January as well.
