Post Split Shania Twain Dazzles at CMA Awards
Nearly six months after announcing the breakup of her marriage, Shania Twain stepped out at last night's Country Music Awards looking so good that her ex is surely having regrets.
The hitmaker gave out the award for entertainer of the year on Wednesday night in Nashville, marking her first U.S. TV appearance since she separated from her husband, songwriter-record producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, amidst rumors he had an affair with a family friend. The audience greeted her with a rousing ovation.

"It's good to see all of you, too," she told the audience. "I hope to be seeing a lot more of you," perhaps referring to the post-breakup album she's said to be working on.
Kenny Chesney was the recipient of the night's final award and, while collected his trophy, he told her: "You look really good tonight."
After the show, Renée Zellweger's ex-hubby copped to playfully giving Shania the eye. "I flirted with Shania," he said. "Relationships are hard anyway — for anybody — but it's even tougher when your life is a spectator sport."
