A Very Britney Christmas
Britney Spears is feeling the Christmas spirit, but her dad is just a Scrooge!
Brit had an elaborate photo shoot planned for this year's Christmas card.
"She wanted to rent real reindeer and even buy fake snow," an insider reveals. But when Jamie, who as her conservator has control of her finances, heard the bill would be $20,000, he hit the roof. "He asked why she couldn't just put the kids in Christmas sweaters and use her digital camera," says the source.
Perhaps this is why Brit, in her upcoming documentary, rants that her life has become worse than a jail sentence.
"If I wasn't under the restraints I'm under, I'd feel so liberated," she says in the movie that airs Nov. 30 on MTV. "When I tell them the way I feel, it's like they hear but they're really not listening. If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I'm having to pay for a long time... I think I've learned my lesson now and enough is enough."

it's not like she was renting chip n' dale's for her kids for xmas...she worked her ass off for it and she should be able to spend it on whatever she wants. her dad gets mula too so why is he bitchin?

first of all Britts dad should not have control of her it is her life she should run it the way she wants to run her life and second all Britt should have control of her money and be able too spend it on what she wants to spend it on her father should not be telling her what the hank to do at all and he had made the completely wrong desion it should of been the other way around what ever it takes for her to get her life back then she should do it but soon before it all goes down the drain

Yeah i think Britney should be able to spend her money how she wants to. Shes come along way from where she was a year or two ago. Shes earned it, everyone wants something from Britney. It could be a picture, interview, autograph.

Britney is trying real hard to make up for some bad decisions she made durring a low point in her life. I think her father should let her make it up to her boys any way she wants. They are only baby's for so long, and this would be an awesome memory for them.

just wondering if brit's dad has to account what he spends it on. she's an adult, let her spend it. if she looses it, then she can be poor with the rest of us. she's gonna have to learn to manage sometime

The peril of going off the deep end is someone else running your life. Maybe next time she'll listen to someone and get help before-the-fact. Not feeling sorry for her here. I wouldn't let her spend $20K on that goofy idea either.
