Nelly gave his first concert since his rape accuser halted charges at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in Florida on Friday. The multiplatinum rapper gave a raunchy performance, ogling a dancer onstage. Less than one week earlier, 21-year-old college student alleged that the Hot in Here singer raped her on his tour bus after his show at the White River Amphitheatre with Florida Georgia Line.

Karen Koehler, the accuser’s attorney, expressed in an open letter that her client had let the police and the King County Prosecutor’s Office know that she wanted to put a halt to the criminal investigation. A representative for the Auburn Police Department reportedly said they are still investigating the alleged rape.

Ms. Koehler claims that her client has been harassed both online and in the media, and while the young woman is not recanting her story about being raped by Nelly, “She will not testify further in a criminal proceeding against him.”

Nelly’s attorney Scott Rosenblum, who has denied any wrongdoing on the part of his client, was no doubt relieved to hear the news. At the time of the 42-year-old rapper’s arrest Mr. Rosemblum claimed the woman’s motivations were based on greed. No evidence has been discovered however, that Nelly or his representatives offered any type of settlement to the accuser.
