Something was different about Angelina Jolie. During her humanitarian trip to Kenya on June 20 for World Refugee Day, Angie, who has looked somber in her rare public appearances since her split from Brad Pitt, was all smiles and hugs as she met with young girls at a safe house in Nairobi. And there’s a good reason why Angie seemed to be glowing from within!
As Star has reported, she found love again in early 2016 with a wealthy, Oxford-educated philanthropist — and the relationship has been going so strong, sources say, that he and Angie, 42, are now considering hiring a surrogate so they can have a baby together! “Angie likes the idea of becoming a mom again,” an insider tells Star. “But after her marriage imploded, she didn’t know if she’d ever find someone with whom she’d want to have another child. But Angie is serious about this guy.”

For Angie, who had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in 2015, the pieces only recently fell into place for her to feel comfortable about a surrogacy. When she started dating her beau (who’s in his mid-50s and of Middle Eastern descent) 15 months ago, “he was married but estranged from his wife — and she was refusing to grant him a divorce,” the insider says. “Angie wouldn’t even consider having a baby with him as long as his situation was unresolved, but now his wife has finally agreed to end the marriage, and Angie feels the timing is perfect.”
Thankfully, her own divorce has shifted into a more positive gear. The bitter court battles that followed last September’s infamous plane flight in which Brad, 53, reportedly had a violent altercation with their son, Maddox, 15, have subsided, “and everything is much more calm and civil,” adds the insider. “Angie felt it was important for her and Brad to be in a better place before moving ahead.”
Sources say the baby will actually be Angie’s biological child, since she had her eggs frozen before having her surgery two years ago, because of her family history of cancer. Angie and her man — whose personal worth is said to top $1 billion — “will be sparing no expense,” the insider says. “Of course, they’ll want a top-of-the-line referral service, and the very best medical care and hospital facilities. The fees and procedures could cost as much as $200,000, but money is obviously no object.”
Having recently moved with her brood — which also includes Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8 — into a sprawling $25 million L.A. estate, there will be plenty of space for a new addition to the family. “The mansion has six bedrooms, but there are several rooms she could convert into a beautiful nursery,” adds the source. “I heard that when Angie told the kids about her baby plans, they were absolutely delighted — especially the twins, who have been begging their mom for a little brother or sister for years.”
As for whether she’ll make things official with her secret lover, the insider adds: “It’s understandable if Angie’s gun-shy about tying the knot again. Still, she obviously has a very intense and close connection with this man, and now they’re taking this huge step together. I wouldn’t rule anything out with Angie, not even another marriage!”
