Shia LaBeouf, 31, was arrested early Saturday morning in Georgia. As reported by TMZ.com the troubled star was picked up for disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness. This is not the Transofrmers actor’s first run in with the law.
Shia was arrested in 2005 for assault with a deadly weapon after he reportedly drove into his neighbor’s car, and again in 2008 for driving under the influence in West Hollywood. The Disturbia star was also arrested in 2014 for his drunken outburst during a performance at a New York theater.
Additional incidents include a 2015 arrest in Austin, Texas for misdemeanor public intoxication, and a January 2017 arrest for suspicion of misdemeanor assault at his own anti-Trump exhibit at a New York museum after allegedly scratching a man’s face, grabbing his scarf, and pushing him to the ground.
Over the years Shia has exhibited erratic behavior on several occasions, urinating in public at a Sherman Oaks, California restaurant, staging a performance art exhibit entitled #IAMSORRY in which he apologized while wearing a paper bag over his head, and allegedly plagiarizing another writer’s work.
This latest incident took place in Georgia where he is reportedly filming the movie The Peanut Butter Falcon. About a month prior to this most recent arrest the actor was spotted urinating on a beach on Tybee Island, Georgia, one of the locations where the movie is being filmed.
