Paris Jackson, 18, looked absolutely stunning in a floor-length, sheer, multi-colored peacock-themed gown at the 28th annual GLAAD Media Awards Saturday night at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Russian fashion house Yanina Couture designed the caped “Bird of Happiness” gown, which Paris complimented with simple jewelry and a metallic rectangular clutch. The daughter of the late Michael Jackson presented the award for Outstanding Comedy Series to Amazon’s Transparent which won over 9 other nominated series including Modern Family (ABC), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (FOX), The Real O’Neals (ABC), and Grace and Frankie (Netflix). The budding actress and model looked happy and healthy as she lit up the red carpet and rubbed shoulders with none other than Caitlyn Jenner. Paris was spotted recently shopping with new friend and fellow model, Caitlyn’s daughter Kendall Jenner. It is nice to see Paris doing so well as she revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine that she suffered a troubled childhood and that she was molested as a young girl. In that interview Paris confirmed The National ENQUIRER’s coverage of her multiple suicide attempts and also accused her father’s physician of participating in a conspiracy that resulted in his death. Before presenting, Paris introduced herself to the GLAAD Media Awards ceremony audience. “I’m Paris. I’m an activist, a traveler, and I love all races. Today we stand together with love and pride in our hearts, and hold hands with our brothers and sisters of the LGBT community and we continue to fight the good fight.” The GLAAD Media Awards honor and recognize media for inclusive and accurate representations of LGBTQ community members and their issues. The Los Angeles ceremony will be televised on LOGO on April 6 at 10 PM. A second GLAAD Media Awards ceremony for additional categories will be held in New York on Saturday May 6, 2017.
