TV director Jason ‘Jace’ Alexander was arrested July 29 in Dobbs Ferry, NY, on child pornography charges.

The Law & Order director was not only accused of consuming the offensive material—he was also allegedly promoting it, making one of the clips available for viewing on the Torrent network, in which a 12-year-old girl takes off her clothes. In another shameful video that he was reportedly caught in possession of, a small girl around seven years old performed sexual acts to herself on camera.

The material was downloaded and the IP address of the files were traced by investigators back to a computer in Alexander’s home, where he was subsequently arrested, but later posted $10,000 bail.

In addition to Law & Order, Alexander has directed episodes of The Practice, Rescue Me & Ally McBeal, Rescue Me & House M.D., and has had small acting parts on screen and on Broadway. The 51-year-old twist is married to actress Maddie Corman, and they have three children of their own, but it is still unclear whether any of the children he exploited in the pornographic videos are his.

Charged with one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child and one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, Alexander faces up to seven years in jail, if convicted.
